Hi, my name is Rick
LaPoint. I am a U.S. Coast Guard licensed, fully insured,
professional guide. I guide on Table Rock, Taneycomo Lakes
I have over 30 years of bass tournament experience, with many wins.. I specialize in deep water tactics for bass, and love to take
kids out fishing! I will provide all that is needed for an enjoyable
trip.

Guide
*Hi my name is Rick La
Point. I grew up with fishing in my veins. Ever since I can remember I was
holding a rod and reel. My dream was to fish for a living as long as I can
recall. Now I am living my dream.
*My specialties are
teaching anglers the refined techniques I have learned over the years.
I am also a fisher of
men.
*I became a Christian in 1996 while I was driving down the road
listening to Christian Radio. Now I
am doing what others dream, for a living!
*I love to share my testimony with others. And I owe it all to my personal
savior Jesus Christ.
Now that you know a little
about my life, and you decide to hire me, that's great. I look forward to
our time together and know we will have a great day fishing!

I am truly a lucky man! I
have a wonderful wife, Karen, that puts up with me, and loves me unconditionally.
*I have 2 great kids and 2 in-law kids. My daughter
Michelle is married to a wonderful guy named Nick.
*My son Aaron is married to a wonderful woman named Amy.
* I also have 5 grand daughters, Hayden Grace Taylor, Katy Faith LaPoint, Claire Elyce
Taylor, Kylie Ann LaPoint and
Isabel Nicole LaPoint. They are the jewels of my heart especially when they run to
Papa.

*Finished 1st in the only Guys and Gals
tournament I fished on Truman Lake in 1993.
*Finished 1st overall in the Pro division
of the Mid-West Bass Assoc. in 1994.
*Finished 1st at the Mid-West Bass Regional
at Lake of the Ozarks in 1994.
*Finished 1st in the Like Father Like Son
Tournament on Table Rock Lake in 1998.
*I was the Youth Director for the
Missouri B.A.S.S. Federation for 5 years.
* Finished 1st in the Ahoy's Summer
Championship on Table Rock in Sept. 2001
*Finishes 1st in the CMN benefit tournament
on Table
Rock in Sept 2002.
* Finished 1st in the Missouri State
Federation Championship at Table Rock in October 2003.
* Finished 1st in the Best of the Best Team
Championship on Grand Lake in Oklahoma in Oct 2005. Won a $20,000 Skeeter
bass boat and Yamaha Motor.
* Finished 1st in the Best of the Best Team
Championship on Pomme De Terre in Sept 2006. Won a $24,000 Skeeter
bass boat and Yamaha Motor.
* Finished 1st in the Central Pro AM
Championship on Table Rock Lake in October 2006. Won a $38,000 Ranger 519VX bass boat and
200HP Mercury Motor + $3200 cash and Prizes.
*Finished 1st in the Weekend Warrior
Championship on Guntersville Lake in Alabama
in April 2007. $25,000 cash
*Finished 1st in the Heartland Pro-Am on
Table Rock Lake in April 2008.
*Finished 1st in the Central Pro-Am Team on
Table Rock Lake in December 2010.
With many wins I have many
more top ten finishes. I will strive to provide
you with the best on the water experience I can. Providing you with all the
necessary equipment you will need for a good and enjoyable fishing trip.
